My New Gig :)

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

I am sorry I haven’t been blogging and sharing the crafting love.  I have the usual excuses.  I’ve been busy, busy and, oh ya, busy.  For many reasons really.  Most of them good. :)

One thing I do have to share with you all is my new job.  I’m the new Creative Editor at Scrapbook & Cards Today which is a available at select stores in North America, by subscription or online (for free).  I am really looking forward to getting my hands dirty and jumping right into the day-to-day of the mag.  It is a pretty fun challenge for me, one that I hope will help me grow as a writer and a person.

So what are you waiting for?  Go and download the  latest issue, take a look and tell me what you think.  I am taking over fully for the Spring ‘10 issue but that doesn’t mean I don’t want your two cents now!

Sad Good-bye

Yesterday my copies of the last issue of Memory Makers arrived.last issue of MMEven thought I have been prepared for it for awhile it still made me sad.  I have read and been part of Memory Makers for a long time.  The last issue seems so final.

So it is with a sad good-bye that I end this chapter.  I will savor this last issue for awhile.

A Transition

Friday, June 19th, 2009

It is sad to be moving my blog from Memory Makers but with the magazine closing it is a must.  I have enjoyed my time working with everyone at MM and I am sad to see it go.

BUT this does not mean an end to scrapbooking for me!  I am setting up here at my new home on the Internet and I cannot wait until you all join me.  I will continue to blog all my scrappy endeavours, sharing with you how I do things, as always.

I hope you are willing to make the transition with me.  :)
